حدث أن اختار مدرب كرة السلة زميلنا عمر ليلعب في فريق المدرسة، لكن ذلك لم يرق لقيس ولا لحاتم، وصارا يتجاهلا وجوده تماما أثناء اللعب. ومرارا قاما بإحراجه أمام بعض الأولاد بأن قالا له أنه بأنه سوف يجلب الخسارة للفريق لا محالة . وفي إحدى المرات، وجد عمر ملابس التدريب الخاصة به مبللة بالماء داخل حقيبته، فلم يتمكن من المشاركة في مباراة ذلك اليوم، وتم استبداله بأحد لاعبي الاحتياط حدث أن اختار مدرب كرة السلة زميلنا عمر ليلعب في فريق المدرسة، لكن ذلك لم يرق لقيس ولا لحاتم، وصارا يتجاهلا وجوده تماما أثناء اللعب. ومرارا قاما بإحراجه أمام بعض الأولاد بأن قالا له أنه بأنه سوف يجلب الخسارة للفريق لا محالة . وفي إحدى المرات، وجد عمر ملابس التدريب الخاصة به مبللة بالماء داخل حقيبته، فلم يتمكن من المشاركة في مباراة ذلك اليوم، وتم استبداله بأحد لاعبي الاحتياط. وفي اليوم التالي، انسحب عمر من فريق كرة السلة مدعيا أن وقته لا يسمح له بالالتزام بنشاط رياضي. حاول المدرب إقناعه بالعدول عن رأيه لكنه أصر على موقفه.
