من أسوأ وسائل التشويه والتشكيك في المنهج السلفي تلك الدعاوى التي تحمل في طياتها ادعاء عدم وجود معالم ومحددات يقوم عليها منهج السلف الصالح، وأنه لا وجود حقيقةً لمنهج يسمى(السلف الصالح) وأن الأمر لا يعدو أن يكون شعارًا ولافتة يرفعها (السلفيون) ليُروّجوا لخطابهم وفكرتهم، عبر التمسّح بالجيل الأول، وخير الناس، وهذه مغالطة علمية خطيرة جديرة بالنقض، إذ لا تستند لدليل، والحق أن ال من أسوأ وسائل التشويه والتشكيك في المنهج السلفي تلك الدعاوى التي تحمل في طياتها ادعاء عدم وجود معالم ومحددات يقوم عليها منهج السلف الصالح، وأنه لا وجود حقيقةً لمنهج يسمى(السلف الصالح) وأن الأمر لا يعدو أن يكون شعارًا ولافتة يرفعها (السلفيون) ليُروّجوا لخطابهم وفكرتهم، عبر التمسّح بالجيل الأول، وخير الناس، وهذه مغالطة علمية خطيرة جديرة بالنقض، إذ لا تستند لدليل، والحق أن المتأمّل لطبيعة الرسالة، وحقيقة التبليغ، وحياة السلف ، يجد منهجاً شرعيًا واضحًا يشتمل معالم نقلية وأصول عقلية ترجع في مجملها إلى تحديد مصادر التلقي وطرق الاستدلال. وقد جاء هذا الكتاب ليُبين أهم تلك المعالم والأصول التي إذا التزمها صاحبها كان موفقًا ومهديًّا، وإذا انحرف أو قصّر كان مؤذنًا بزيغٍ وفساد عريض.
