ولاينسى الكاتب أن يوثق لنا المناطق العسكرية و أسماء الضباط لأتراك و الليبين الذين يقودون عمليات الجهاد في كل منطقة و على رأسهم نشأت باشا و سليمان باشا الباروني . ينتقل الكاتب بين مدن وقرى ليبية مختلفة من زوارة و مسلاتة و الخمس و زليطن إلى العجيلات و جنزور و طرابلس و يقدم لنا صورة عن الحياة الاجتماعية و الاقتصادية و الزراعية و السياسية في ليبيا في ذلك الوقت . و لاينسى أن يوثق لنا دور المرأة الليبية في الجهاد و حملها السلاح للدفاع عن الدين و الوطن و عرضها و شرفها . و أخيرا يرصد تضامن العالم الإسلامي مع أشقائه الليبين حيث تصل إليهم المساعدات من تونس و مصر و الجزائر و الشام .
