زينب محمد الغزالي الجبيلي (1917 - 2005) داعية وسياسية مصرية تنتمي إلى حركة الإخوان المسلمين، وكانت إحدى الأعضاء البارزات في الاتحاد النسائي مع هدى شعراوي.
نسبها ونشأتها
ولدت زينب محمد الغزالي الجبيلي في 2 يناير 1919 في قرية ميت يعيش مركز ميت غمر محافظة الدقهلية ، وكان والدها من علماء الأزهر، وكان جدها تاجرا شهيرا للقطن ووالدها من علماء الأزهر الشريف وكان يعمل أيضًا تاجرًا للقطن، ووالدتها من عائلة كبيرة في قرية (ميت يعيش) مركز (ميت غمر) محافظة (الدقهلية)، ولدت السيدة زينب الغزالي في الثاني من يناير سنة 1919م الموافق الثامن من ربيع أول سنة 1335 هـ، توفي والدها في سن مبكرة سنة 1928م، وكان عمرها آنذاك حوالي أحد عشر عامًا.
دراستها
درست زينب الغزالي في المدارس الحكومية وتلقت علوم الدين على يد مشايخ من الأزهر، فبعد وفاة والدها انتقلت مع والدتها إلى القاهرة للعيش مع إخوتها الذين يدرسون ويعملون هناك ولم يوافق أخوها الأكبر محمد على تعليمها رغم إلحاح زينب وإصرارها.
واقتنى لها الكتب. وأهمها كتاب لعائشة التيمورية عن المرأة. حفظت زينب أكثر مقاطعه. لكنها لم تكتف بالكتب والقراءة الحرة.
ثم انتقلت بعده إلى الصف الأول وبعد شهرين من انتظامها في الدراسة أجرى لها اختبارا ألحقها على إثره بالفصل التالي. وهكذا درست زينب في المدارس الحكومية لكنها لم تكتف بذلك. فأخذت تتلقى علوم الدين على يد مشايخ من الأزهر منهم عبد المجيد اللبان ومحمد سليمان النجار رئيس قسم الوعظ والإرشاد بالأزهر. والشيخ علي محفوظ من هيئة كبار العلماء بالأزهر. وبهذا جمعت زينب بين العلوم المدرسية الحديثة والتقليدية القائمة على الأخذ المباشر من الشيوخ.
