بيد أن الدكتاتور الألماني لم يكن يهتم بمثل هذه السخافات، ذلك أن الهدف الرئيسي الذي كان يسعى إليه هو رفعة ألأمانيا، وإعلان أمجاد الرايخ الثالث بضم الأراضي الألمانية عندما ظهرت نوايا هتلر الحقيقية.. ارتعدت فرائص ساسة أوروبا خوفا من هذا المارد الذي استيقض لينتقم.. وهو ما دفع رئيس وزراء بريطانيا (تشمبرلين) لأن يسارع إلى ميونيخ ثلاث مرات عام 1938 لاسترضاء هتلر والبكاء بين يديه.
بيد أن الدكتاتور الألماني لم يكن يهتم بمثل هذه السخافات، ذلك أن الهدف الرئيسي الذي كان يسعى إليه هو رفعة ألأمانيا، وإعلان أمجاد الرايخ الثالث بضم الأراضي الألمانية التي فقدها في معاهدة فرساي المذلة. وعلى ذلك.. دقت طبول الحرب وارتفعت بيارقها.. وفاحت رائحة البارود والحرب والدخان والدمار.. وتأججت النيران تلتهم في طريقها الأخضر اليابس.
وعلى الساحة ظهرت أسماء عديدة لزعماء وقادة ورجال سياسة، بعضهم ظهر قبل الحرب وبعضهم خلالها.. وقليلون منهم عاشوا لفترة بعدها يسبحون مع أسرار لا طائل لها من وقائع وملابسات الحرب..
