يتكون المؤلف من تسعة فصول، إلى ج يستعرض كتاب "جيش الظل.. المتعاونون الفلسطينيون مع الصهيونية 1917-1948" الاحتكاك اليومي بين عرب فلسطين (فلسطينيي الداخل) واليهود قبل عام 1948، ويطرح نماذج مختلفة للمتعاونين ودوافعهم المتباينة. ويرى أن تلك المرحلة التي ظهرت فيها آفات اجتماعية متجذرة استغلتها الحركة الصهيونية باقتدار، وعملت على تصعيدها لتسهيل إقامة دولة إسرائيل، وتحقيق أهدافها.
يتكون المؤلف من تسعة فصول، إلى جانب مقدمة المترجمة التي جاء فيها "إن كل من يتساءل عن سبب ترجمة هذا الكتاب إلى العربية أقول له إن غض الطرف عن النقائض ليبقى الوضع المتقيح على حاله، دونما دراسة جادة معمقة لمعرفة الأسباب الموضوعية والإستراتيجية، سيجلب المآزق والهزائم المتتالية".
