لا شك أن إتاحة التعرف على هذه القصائد "المعلقات" التي تضاهي الإلياذة والأوديسية، وتقديمها للغرب، كان من شأنه أن يكون أكثر يسراً، لو لم يستوجب ذلك من قبل، كما أوضح ذلك سلام الكندي، جهد التنقيب عن فحواها والكشف عنه في مشرق نشأتها، واستعادة هويتها اللغوية والشعرية.
إنني لن أنسي مقدار الانبهار الذي انتابني عندما وصلتني أخيراً هذه المعلقات سليمة عفية، بالرغم من ستائر الضباب والس لا شك أن إتاحة التعرف على هذه القصائد "المعلقات" التي تضاهي الإلياذة والأوديسية، وتقديمها للغرب، كان من شأنه أن يكون أكثر يسراً، لو لم يستوجب ذلك من قبل، كما أوضح ذلك سلام الكندي، جهد التنقيب عن فحواها والكشف عنه في مشرق نشأتها، واستعادة هويتها اللغوية والشعرية.
