من أهم المتون العقدية تلك التي ألفها الإمام العلامة السنوسي قدس سره وأسماها بأم البراهين وشرحها، واهتم بها العلماء شرحا وتبسيطا، وقد نظمها الإمام السقاط (على بن العربي السقاط ت 1183هـ) في مائتي بيت، وطلب من تلميذه الإمام العلامة محمد بن محمد بن أحمد بن عبد القادر السنباوي الشهير بالعلامة الأمير الكبير ت 1232هـ شرحها، فلبى طلبه وشرحها شرحا ماتعا، قام الدكتور محمد عبد القادر من أهم المتون العقدية تلك التي ألفها الإمام العلامة السنوسي قدس سره وأسماها بأم البراهين وشرحها، واهتم بها العلماء شرحا وتبسيطا، وقد نظمها الإمام السقاط (على بن العربي السقاط ت 1183هـ) في مائتي بيت، وطلب من تلميذه الإمام العلامة محمد بن محمد بن أحمد بن عبد القادر السنباوي الشهير بالعلامة الأمير الكبير ت 1232هـ شرحها، فلبى طلبه وشرحها شرحا ماتعا، قام الدكتور محمد عبد القادر نصار بتحقيق النص والتعليق عليه، كما أضاف رسالتين للعلامة الأمير على شرحه المذكور وهما:
شرح أبيات السجاعي في المنافاة
وأيضًا
شرح قولهم واحد لا من قلة.
