«الجامع المسند الصحيح المختصر من أُمور رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلّم وسننه وأيامه»، الشهير بِاْسم «صحيح البخاري» هو أبرز كتب الحديث النبوي عند المسلمين من أهل السنة والجماعة. صنّفه الإمام محمد بن إسماعيل البخاري واستغرق في تحريره ستة عشر عاماً، وانتقى أحاديثه من ستمائة ألف حديث جمعها، ويحتلّ الكتاب مكانة متقدمة عند أهل السنّة حيث أنه أحد الكتب الستّة التي تعتبر من أمهات مص «الجامع المسند الصحيح المختصر من أُمور رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلّم وسننه وأيامه»، الشهير بِاْسم «صحيح البخاري» هو أبرز كتب الحديث النبوي عند المسلمين من أهل السنة والجماعة. صنّفه الإمام محمد بن إسماعيل البخاري واستغرق في تحريره ستة عشر عاماً، وانتقى أحاديثه من ستمائة ألف حديث جمعها، ويحتلّ الكتاب مكانة متقدمة عند أهل السنّة حيث أنه أحد الكتب الستّة التي تعتبر من أمهات مصادر الحديث عندهم، وهو أوّل كتاب مصنّف في الحديث الصحيح المجرّد كما يعتبر لديهم أصحّ كتاب بعد القرآن الكريم.(1) ويعتبر كتاب صحيح البخاري أحد كتب الجوامع وهي التي احتوت على جميع أبواب الحديث من العقائد والأحكام والتفسير والتاريخ والزهد والآداب وغيرها.
