إني أعدت منذ سنوات بحثا بعنوان:(( مابين مالك والشافعي: دراسة في موقف التلميذ من الشيخ، وفي أهم الفروق الأصولية بينهما)). واعتمدت فيه على كتاب (اختلاف مالك والشافعي) المطبوع ضمن (الأم) للشافعي. وقد تبين لي من هذا البحث أن الشافعي استفاد في ردوده على مالك من كتاب ( الجحة على أهل المدينة) لمحمد بن الحسن الشيباني. وأغلب الظن أنه استفاد مابين مالك والليث ومحمد بن الحسن الشيباني

لذلك ارتأيت هنا أن أتحدث عن موقف هذين الإمامين من الإمام مالك. وذلك من خلال الفصول التالية:
الفصل الأول: كلمة عن مالك وعن أهم العوامل المؤثرة في شخصيته العلمية.
الفصل الثاني: مابين مالك والليث بن سعد.
الفصل الثالث: مابين مالك ومحمد بن الحسن الشيباني.
ثم أنهي البحث بخاتمة، أتحدث فيها عن وشائج القربى بين المذهبين المالكي والحنفي.
