حب من النظرة الأول، وله وغرام، أغان واستعراضات، ترومبت أو أوكورديون، أشرار تقليديون، رجال عصابات، عاطفة تنتصر على الفوارق الإجتماعية، عراك بالأيدى يواجه فيه البطل عشرات الأشرار، يتطاير شعره مع تبادل الضربات، ويسقط فوق جبهته، ثم نهاية سعيدة، قبلة طويلة أو زفة فرح، هكذا كانت سينما أنور وجدى، وكذلك عاش حياته وكأنه يمثل فيلمًا طويلاً، يتصرف كما تفعل شخصياته فى الأفلام، يتكلم و حب من النظرة الأول، وله وغرام، أغان واستعراضات، ترومبت أو أوكورديون، أشرار تقليديون، رجال عصابات، عاطفة تنتصر على الفوارق الإجتماعية، عراك بالأيدى يواجه فيه البطل عشرات الأشرار، يتطاير شعره مع تبادل الضربات، ويسقط فوق جبهته، ثم نهاية سعيدة، قبلة طويلة أو زفة فرح، هكذا كانت سينما أنور وجدى، وكذلك عاش حياته وكأنه يمثل فيلمًا طويلاً، يتصرف كما تفعل شخصياته فى الأفلام، يتكلم وينفعل ويؤدى بالطريقة ذاتها، وكأن الكاميرا تتعقبه أينما ذهب، سلبت السينما عقله، بات مجنونًا بعوالمها، مهووسًا بسحرها، وصارت عدساتها كظله، تتبعه فى كل مكان، وكما يليق بحياة سينمائية مثل التى خاضها، كانت النهاية ميلودرامية وقاسية ولا تخلو من رومانسية موجعة.
تسللتُ إلى عالم أنور وجدى، تتبعته، وسجلتُ ما التقطته عينى، دون رغبة منى فى التحليل النفسى، قد تكون سيرة لفنان استثنائى أو سيناريو أخير لقصة حياته أو لوحة لزمن غاب بأكمله، أو صورة جماعية وقف أنور وجدى فى قلبها والتف حوله فنانون وساسة وحسناوات وأبطال وكومبارسات.
