Apabila shalatnya baik, maka seluruh amalnya pun baik. Apabila shalatnya buruk, maka seluruh ama Mampu mengerjakan ibadah dengan sebaik-baiknya adalah dambaan setiap hamba Allah, terlebih dalam masalah shalat (baca: khusyuk). Mengapa? Karena Rasulullah Saw pernah menegaskan dalam sabdanya, “Perkara yang pertama kali dihisab dari seorang hamba pada Hari Kiamat adalah shalat.
Apabila shalatnya baik, maka seluruh amalnya pun baik. Apabila shalatnya buruk, maka seluruh amalnya pun akan buruk.” (H.r. Thabrani dari sahabat Anas bin Malik)
Khusyuk bukan berarti lupa segala-galanya karena Rasulullah Saw pernah memulai shalat dengan niat memanjangkannya. Namun, ketika mendengar tangis bayi, beliau memendekkannya. Beliau juga pernah shalat fardhu sambil menggendong Umamah binti Abil Ash. Apabila berdiri, beliau menggendongnya; apabila rukuk atau sujud, beliau meletakkannya. Juga tak berarti lalai karena beliau Saw meski memperhatikan kondisi para jamaah dan lainnya, beliau tetap berkonsentrasi penuh, mendekatkan diri kepada Allah dan fokus di hadapan-Nya.
