صدر عن مركز النشر العلمي بجامعة الملك عبدالعزيز كتاباً علمياً جديداً بعنوان "زراعة الخلايا الطبيعية والجذعية والسرطانية" من تأليف الأستاذ الدكتور/ صالح بن عبدالعزيز الكريم، والدكتورة / فاطمة القدسي، والدكتورة/ فاتن خورشيد, ويقع الكتاب في (151) صفحة مدعوماً بصور ملونة للخلايا, إن هذا الكتاب هو الأول من نوعه باللغة العربية, ولقد كتب على أسس علمية فيما يخص زراعة الخلايا, حيث صدر عن مركز النشر العلمي بجامعة الملك عبدالعزيز كتاباً علمياً جديداً بعنوان "زراعة الخلايا الطبيعية والجذعية والسرطانية" من تأليف الأستاذ الدكتور/ صالح بن عبدالعزيز الكريم، والدكتورة / فاطمة القدسي، والدكتورة/ فاتن خورشيد, ويقع الكتاب في (151) صفحة مدعوماً بصور ملونة للخلايا, إن هذا الكتاب هو الأول من نوعه باللغة العربية, ولقد كتب على أسس علمية فيما يخص زراعة الخلايا, حيث بدأ بمقدمة حددت تعريفه ومصطلحاته ونبذة تاريخية عنه, ثم باب مستقل عن الوسط البيئي, الذي تتم فيه زراعة الخلايا في ظروف فيزيائية وكيميائية, ومواد الأيض, وبيئات طبيعية وصناعية, والتعقيم, وأدوات الزراعة ومصادرها, ثم باب ثالث يخص الملاحظات التجريبية لزراعة الخلايا, وخصصت الثلاثة الأبواب الأخيرة لطرق زراعة الخلايا, أحدها يخص زراعة الخلايا الجذعية, والثاني لزراعة الخلايا الطبيعية, والثالث لزراعة الخلايا السرطانية.
إن أحد أهم الأمور في كتابة هذا الكتاب الجامعي، الذي يخدم شريحة كبيرة من المتخصصين، هو أن من قام بتأليفه صفوة من الخبراء في مجال زراعة الخلايا، فلم تقتصر الكتابة عن المعرفة النظرية فقط، بل اقترنت بالقراءة العلمية المكثفة عن الملاحظات التجريبية.
