قسمت الكتاب إلى ثلاثة فصول. الفصل الأول بعنوان (من هي أمي؟) وتناولت فيه تعريفاً سريعاً بها وبصفاتها وعلومها وثقافتها وقصصها وأمثالها التي سمعتها منها وغذّت بها عقولنا , وأثرت بها تجاربنا, والفصل الثاني وهو بعنوان (تعلمت من أمي دروسا في التربية) وفي هذا الفصل عرضت لدروس في التربية تعلمتها في مدرسة أمي مدعمة بالشواهد والمواقف التي تعبرعنها وتوضحها, والفصل الثالث بعنوان (تعلم قسمت الكتاب إلى ثلاثة فصول. الفصل الأول بعنوان (من هي أمي؟) وتناولت فيه تعريفاً سريعاً بها وبصفاتها وعلومها وثقافتها وقصصها وأمثالها التي سمعتها منها وغذّت بها عقولنا , وأثرت بها تجاربنا, والفصل الثاني وهو بعنوان (تعلمت من أمي دروسا في التربية) وفي هذا الفصل عرضت لدروس في التربية تعلمتها في مدرسة أمي مدعمة بالشواهد والمواقف التي تعبرعنها وتوضحها, والفصل الثالث بعنوان (تعلمت من أمي دروسا من الحياة) وتناولت في هذا الفصل الدروس التي تعلمتها من أمي في مدرسة الحياة والعلاقات مع الناس مدعمة كذلك بالشواهد والمواقف المناسبة لها.
