نهض الأفق المنهجي لهذا الكتاب على سمطقة ما بعد الاستشراق اللامتناهية. وتقع علاقة العلامات بين شكل ما بعد الاستشراق ومضمونه، فى إطار من افتراض العملية اللامتناهية، وتحل العلامة أو مجموعة العلامات محل علامة أو مجموعة علامات أخرى، فى إطار من افتراض العملية اللامتناهية نفسها والمسالة أنه من دون هذا الإحلال المتبادل بين العلامات، اى من دون الالتباس فى مدلول ما بعد الاستشراق، وت نهض الأفق المنهجي لهذا الكتاب على سمطقة ما بعد الاستشراق اللامتناهية. وتقع علاقة العلامات بين شكل ما بعد الاستشراق ومضمونه، فى إطار من افتراض العملية اللامتناهية، وتحل العلامة أو مجموعة العلامات محل علامة أو مجموعة علامات أخرى، فى إطار من افتراض العملية اللامتناهية نفسها والمسالة أنه من دون هذا الإحلال المتبادل بين العلامات، اى من دون الالتباس فى مدلول ما بعد الاستشراق، وتناقضاته الدلالية، قد يعجز الباحث عن الاستعانة بالمناهج المختلفة لحل مسألة "ما بعد الاستشراق" المطروحة بصورة رئيسية هنا.
