يقدم نموذجًا لإعجاز القرآن الكريم في مجالات العلوم الاجتماعية؛ ولهذا فإن موضوع هذا الكتاب يصنف في المساهمات التي تعمل على تأسيس أحدث العلوم القرآنية وهو علم الإعجاز العلمي في القرآن الكريم. الموضوع الاقتصادي له اعتباره في هذه الدراسة، وقد ثبت أن القرآن الكريم يعالج هذا الموضوع في منظومة تتفاعل فيها الأمور الاعتقادية والأمور الاقتصادية والأمور السياسية.
يتضمن الكتاب دراسة مفصلة عن الآيات (84– 95) من سورة هود، وهي قصة نبي الله شعيب مع قومه مدين. ومن أوجه الإعجاز التي ثبتت أن القرآن الكريم أعطى نموذجًا من خلال هذه القصة لما يحدث في عالمنا العربي المعاصر باعتباره جزءًا من عالمنا الإسلامي، وهذا إخبار بغيب، وهو أحد أوجه الإعجاز القرآني.
