تحركت أقلام عربية بعد فوز باراك أوباما، وكتبت عن «دور» العرب في تلك الانتخابات، وفي التحولات المنتظرة مع تسلم الرجل الجديد زمام الأمر بواشنطن. لذا بدا لي أن أعبر عن رأيي توخيا للحذر واليقظة في تناول هذا الموضوع. فالحدث وضعنا في منزلة بين المنزلتين: فمن جهة أولى، نحن ننتمي الى تلك الإنسانية التي رتبت في مكان «الإنسان الآخر» منذ قرون، ولا أحتاج التذكير بالتفاصيل في هذا الموض تحركت أقلام عربية بعد فوز باراك أوباما، وكتبت عن «دور» العرب في تلك الانتخابات، وفي التحولات المنتظرة مع تسلم الرجل الجديد زمام الأمر بواشنطن. لذا بدا لي أن أعبر عن رأيي توخيا للحذر واليقظة في تناول هذا الموضوع. فالحدث وضعنا في منزلة بين المنزلتين: فمن جهة أولى، نحن ننتمي الى تلك الإنسانية التي رتبت في مكان «الإنسان الآخر» منذ قرون، ولا أحتاج التذكير بالتفاصيل في هذا الموضوع، إذ يمكن أن نعتبر سقوط غرناطة، وبعدها هزيمة الأساطيل العثمانية بليبانتو بداية لإقحامنا في هذه الخانة أو التصنيف من طرف الأنظمة الأوروبية.طبعا نعرف أن لذلك جذورا في التوراة والأناجيل وتفاسيرها العديدة، وفي الحروب التي اشتعلت نيرانها بين الأديان الثلاثة منذ ظهورالإسلام، واستمرت بحدة فيما سماه الأوربيون ب " القرون الوسطى" وبعدها، ولا زالت مستمرة، بشكل أو بآخرإلى اليوم. لكن بناء التاريخ واحتلال الصدراة فيه توطدا في أوروبا منذ البداية، التي ذكرتها، مرورا ببسط النفوذ الإمبريالي على القارات، والاحتلال الكولونيالي، وما أتى بعده. ولايخفى على أحد اليوم أن بناء هذا التاريخ هدف بشكل شعوري أولا شعوري إلى احتواء المسارات التارخية للشعوب " الأخرى"، أي المغلوبة، والتحكم في مصائرها.
