کتابِ «یک روایتِ غیرسیاسی از یک اتفاقِ سیاسی: انتخاباتِ ۹۶» یک روایت است از پرسهزنی معین فرخی در روزهای انتخاباتِ ریاستجمهوری در سالِ ۱۳۹۶. او که سابقهی داستاننویسی و ترجمه در حوزهی ادبیات غیرداستانی را نیز در کارنامهی خود دارد، در دورانِ انتخابات و به عنوانِ ناظری عادی واردِ ستادهای انتخاباتی و میتینگهای نامزدها شد و سعی کرد تا به گزارشی برسد از چیدمان نیروها و کتابِ «یک روایتِ غیرسیاسی از یک اتفاقِ سیاسی: انتخاباتِ ۹۶» یک روایت است از پرسهزنی معین فرخی در روزهای انتخاباتِ ریاستجمهوری در سالِ ۱۳۹۶. او که سابقهی داستاننویسی و ترجمه در حوزهی ادبیات غیرداستانی را نیز در کارنامهی خود دارد، در دورانِ انتخابات و به عنوانِ ناظری عادی واردِ ستادهای انتخاباتی و میتینگهای نامزدها شد و سعی کرد تا به گزارشی برسد از چیدمان نیروها و باورها و طرفداران این گروهها در آن هفتههای ملتهب. فرخی در این کتاب تلاش کرده به ترسیمِ وضعیتِ متلاطمِ گروههای سیاسی در آن انتخابات نزدیک شود، و مهمتر اینکه اثری بنویسد دربارهی برخوردِ انسان با مفهومِ انتخابات و رقبا، اثری که با گذشتِ زمان کهنه نشود و تکنگاری جذابی باشد از آن روزها. او در جستوجوی مفهومِ این نگاهِ جمعی است که در برههی مذکور شکل گرفت و بعد بهسرعت ناپدید شد...
