هذه مجموعة قصص تعتمد الخيال العلمي الطريف لغرس العادات الصحية الحميدة في نفوس الصغار من أجل أبناء أصحاء معافين. حيث تتناول هذه القصة الحديث عن المعدة وهي أعجب أعضاء الجسم, تهضم اللحم والعصب. ولا تهضم نفسها, وهي لحم وعصب, تقع تحت الصدر الى اليسار قليلاً, وهي جوف صغير تحيط به جدران عضلية قوية جداً. إن للمعدة نظام عمل دقيق, إذ يجب عليها أن تبقي الطعام في جوفها لمدة تتراوح بين النصف ساعة, والساعتين. بحسب ثقل الوجبة. وهي إذا دخل عليها طعام جديد أثناء ذلك, فقد تتأذى وترد بعنف. لذلك ينبغي عدم الإفراط في الطعام حتى التخمة, ويجب الاقتصاد في الماء أثناء الوجبة.
