منذ أكثر من نصف قرن كادت ما تسمى بمعرفة اليهود في المعسكرات النازية خلال الحرب العالمية الثانية أن تكون أضخم أسطورة في القرن العشرين، حيث لا يخلو منهج دراسي في مدارس الدول الغربية-ومن تنقل مناهجها من دول العالم-من حديث المحرقة ضمن كتب التاريخ، وربما الأدب أيضاً، التي يتلقاها التلاميذ، وهكذا نشأت أجيال تشكل الآن غالبية سكان العالم، تسلم بالرواية الصهيونية الأسطورية لإعدام الألمان النازيين لملايين اليهود خلال الحرب العالمية الثانية وهي ما تسمى "بالهولوكوست". وفي هذا الكتاب تقرير نقض لوشتر فيه أسطورة إعدام الـ(6) مليون يهودي بالغاز، التي قامت على أساسين زائفين: 1-تحريف "الحلّ النهائي" والذي يعني توطين اليهود خارج ألمانيا إلى: إبادة اليهود. 2-تحويل غرف التطهير من القمل إلى غرف إعدام اليهود بالغاز. وهدف المترجم من وراء ترجمته العربية لهذا التقرير لتبقي هذا النص مصدراً علمياً عربياً لكل من يبحث في تلك الفترة التاريخية، ولعل من يتناول تلك الأسطورة الغربية/الصهيونية المسماة بالمحرقة.
