كانت التطورات والأحداث التي شهدتها مصر طوال عام من عمر الثورة من الكثافة والحدة والسرعة بحيث لم تتح الفرصة الكافية للتأمل واستيعاب الدلالات الحقيقة لما جرى، وما قد يجرى لاحقًا. لقد كانت ثورة 25 يناير ملهمة لشعوب عديدة بدأت سلمية وظلت سلمية حافظ فيها الشعب المصري على قوة الدفع طوال 18 يومًا إلى أن حقق هدفه الأكبر وهو إسقاط نظام مستبد تحكم في المصريين طوال عقود ثلاثة. وبعد ذلك تفرقت السبل بين المصريين، وأصبح لدينا عدد لا حصر له من الائتلافات الشبابية، وظهرت قوى سياسية وحزبية جديدة لم تكن في الساحة من قبل، وتكررت الدعوة إلى الانتقام الفوري والسريع من رموز النظام السابق عبر إجراءات استثنائية تتناسب مع دواعي الثورة ومتطلباتها. وفي بيئة تسودها الشكوك وتتعامل على النوايا المفترضة للآخر وغير المدعومة بدلائل وقرائن ثابتة ويقينية، تصبح المخاوف هي الحكم، وتنزوي الحكمة في التقدير والحكمة في القرار والحكمة في التحرك.
