مسيرته
ولد الدكتور عبد السلام بنعبد العالي بمدينة سلا سنة 1945 حاصل على الدكتوراه في الفلسفة، وهو أستاذ جامعي بجامعة محمد الخامس بالرباط، له كثير من المقالات والدراسات العلمية، بالإضافة إلى مجموعة مهمة من الكتب التي نشرت له ومنها ما هو مشترك بينه وبين مفكرين أمثال المفكر سالم يفوت في كتاب درس الإبستمولوجيا .

إن الفكر الفلسفي لا ينشغل اليوم بموضوعات يعينها بقدر ما ينشغل بنفسه ويبحث عن أصوله وكيفية نشأتها. لا عجب إذن أن ينصب التفكير الفلسفي عندنا على مفاهيم استراتيجية ترمي إلى مراجعة مفاهيم الفلسفة وقضاياها وإعادة النظر في التراث الفلسفي.... ولعل هذا ما يفسر الأهمية التي يتخذها مفهوم التراث وما يرتبط به من مفاهيم كالتاريخ و الهوية والخصوصية. وقد أدى هذا إلى توظيف مفاهيم ابستملوجية كالعقلانية و الواقع والموضوعية والإشكالية و القطيعة فليس من الغريب هذا الشعور الذي نلحظه عندنا من ضرورة الانفتاح على الفكر الغربي المعاصر ما دامت المفاهيم التي ينشغل بها تكاد تكون هي هذه التي ذكرنا. ذلك أن هذا الفكر ينشغل اليوم، كما سبق أن قلنا، بإعادة قراءة تراثه الفكري. ولا حاجة إلى التذكير هنا بأن الفلسفة بعد هيغل قد أدخلت المكان للتاريخ فأصبح هم الفكر هو إعادة قراءة تراثه لتجاوزه إما بنبذه كما فعلت الوضعية وامتداداتها أو بتملكه. وفي هذا الإطار صرح ماركس، كما نعلم أن «لا علم إلا التاريخ». ولهذه الغاية خطت «الايديولوجيا الألمانية» لإعلان نهاية الفلسفة. وقد أدى هذا، ولأول مرة، إلى تحديد مفهوم التاريخ ونحت مفهوم الإيديولوجيا وإعادة النظر في منطق الفلسفة ومفهوم الجدل ومبدأ الهوية وفكرة التعارض ومفهوم السلب و الاختلاف.
