يشكّل كتاب الناقدالألماني هلموت بوتيجر ( -1956) “ما بعد اليوتوبيات· تاريخٌ للأدب المعاصر الناطق بالألمانية” الذي صدر عام 2004واحداً من الدراسات النقدية العميقة التي تتابع مستجدات المشهد الأدبي المعاصر للآداب الناطقة باللغة الألمانية· وضع بوتيجر لكتابه عنوانين، واحداً رئيسياً، وآخر فرعياً· والعنوانان يتضافران معاً ليصنعا رؤية المؤلف وهو يحاول استنطاق ما تنطوي عليه تلك النصوص والأعمال التي يتصدّى لها من دلالات وما تشير إليه من تحوّلات· من الواضح أنّ العنوان الرئيسي للكتاب يشير إلى تلاشي اليوتوبيات، أو اضمحلالها، مثلما أوضح المؤلف غير مرّة في ثنايا كتابه· وتلاشي اليوتوبيات يعني اختفاء التصوّرات المنبثقة عن الخيال الأدبي، أو الرؤى الفلسفيـــــــة التي تبنــي مجتمعات متخيّلة قد تكـون مثاليـة ومتفائلـة كمـا فــي يوتوبيـا تومــاس مــور (1535 – 1478) وهاينريش فون كلايست (1811 – 1777)، وقد تكون سالبة ومتشائمة ترسم للإنسانية مصيراً أسود، تغيب الحريّة والعدالة عنه، ويسود فيه الطغيان الذي يسعى لاستعباد الإنسان وقهره، كما الحال في رواية جورج أورويل الشهيرة (1984)· يجمع “ما بعد اليوتوبيات” بين تجارب أدبية شهيرة ومعترف بها، حصلت على جوائز أدبية متميّزة، ونال بعضها جائزة نوبل للآداب، مثل غونترغراس الذي نالها عام 1999 وإلفريدي يلينيك الروائية النمساوية ( -1946) التي حصلت عليها عام 2004 وإن لم تحظ تجربتها بشهرة غراس، وبين تجارب أدبية ما تزال في طور التشكّل، كتجربة يوديث هيرمان وتجربة توماس كلنج الذي اخترمه الموت في سن مبكّرة نسبياً (2005 – 1957)· ويبدو أنّ التوزيع الدقيق لأولئك الأدباء على فصول الكتاب بعنواناتها الدالّة، أسهم في صناعة إيقاعات متباينة لذلك العالم الذي تشكّل كلّ تجربة فيه لوناً من التمثيل الرمزي لجزئيات ذلك العالم ولا يجعل من تلك الأعمال مجرّد نصوص متناثرة لا رابط بينها·
