هذا الكتاب ترجمه لمجموعه من القصائد الشعريه للأديب الكرواتى دراجو شتامبوك، وهى قصائد منحوته بدقه حاده قاطعه- كأنما بحد السكين- ضد الإنشائيه والتزيد اللفظى، فلكل كلمه ثقلها مكتنزه بالأصداء والدلالات، كثافه حدِّيه صلبه، مستمده من كثافه الموت والأبديه لا تنفرط ولا تترهل. إن هناك جمالا أسود يُشع من هذه القصائد الكرواتيه، فكل قصيده حجر كريم مصقول وصلب، يرسل أشعه غامضهً وامضهً تومئ إلى ما يكمن داخلها من أصوات مبتوره .
