تطرق إلى أمور محددة يعتقد أن "علينا معا" مواجهتها بجهد مشترك. لم يتحدث بلغة "نحن" و"هم", خرج عن قاموس سلفة والمحافظين الجدد ومصطلحاتهم الغاشمة مثل "محور الشر" و"الدول المارقة" و"الخطر الأخضر" و"الفاشية الإسلامية", وغيرها. لم ينس أوباما أن يستشهد بآيات من القرآن ثلاث مرات. هل هى بداية جديدة حقا؟
