"إنه البحر" عمل روائي جديد للكاتب اليمني "صالح با عامر" وفيه ينحو منحى تجريبياً يبتعد فيه عن الرواية التقليدية في الحكاية والخطاب، وفي الشكل والمضمون، ليخرج للقارئ بنصاً روائياً يقترب من لغة الشعر، وهذا ما يمنحه القدرة على التجريب والمغامرة في اجتراح خطاب روائي خاص. فالبحر الذي ينتمي إليه العنوان (إنه البحر) هو المكان المقصود في الرواية، وهو مكان رمزي يرمز إلي حالة الرحيل ومعاناة البحارة خلال الرحلة، وانتظار المحبوبة لحبيبها وهي فكرة تستدرج البحر إلى المعيش والمتخيل معاً، فينتقل الراوي بالمشهد من يم إلى يم ومن مرسى إلى مرسى ومن جزيرة إلى أخرى وهو يراقب حركة الرحالة وحالاتهم النفسية المتقلبة المتناقضة كتقلبات البحر. ناقلاً مشاعرهم ومشاعر من تركوا خلفهم من أحبة: آه يا حسنائي ويا مبعث هنائي/ فلولاك ما خطوت/ وما سموت وغفوت وصحوت آه..." فيجيبه: "آه يا سحيمي ويا بهجة فؤادي/ أقبل عليَ في إزدهاء/ لا تتوارى عني أو تستتر آه...". بهذه اللغة الشاعرية يكون "صالح با عامر" قدم نصاً روائياً مختلفاً تمرَد فيه على سلطة الرواية. فكان خير من كتب وأبدع...
