أسمعك تئن: تلك حوريتك على الشاطئ وهذا رداؤها ملقى على فرس. أيها المدثر بغواية غربتك، تنقد في الجمرة وما من نار، تبرق في النجمة، وما من ليل، تسيل في العسل، وما من نحلة، تنضج في الثمرة وما من شجرة، تنفتح في الجرح وما من جسد، ترهف في الصوت وما من فم، تصفق في الجناح وما من فراشة، تمشي في الخطوة وما من قدم، تفرط في المنفى وما من وطن. أسمعها تئن في رئتيك غامضة وما من ألم. قدماك على جزيرة فيما يلهو بشعرك الغمام. عادات: في زاوية من شارع ما وقفت أحلم. بعين واحدة أرمق الخطوات التي تتكاثر حولي، فيما عيني الأخرى مغمضة. مثل قرصان بحري كنت، أذهب والموج يمر من جانبي. حين إنتهى حلمي صرت أرى الأرض من فوق كما لو أنها ماض. البرج: لسان لعابه النور. الخاتم: لمعته تسلي الأصبع... الشبابيك: بضوء فانوس تفتت روحها. الذئب: عواؤه فاصلة بين ليلين. المدخنة: كلامها يرتجل رسوماً. أنت: كما لو تغيبين في دعائي. الحافات: نداؤها الأبيض. معانٍ وارقة في غابة من الكلمات، هكذا إنبثقت أفكار الشاعر رافضة التقيد بقصيدة أو بقافية، تناسلت وتآطرت ضمن سطور نثرية متفلتة من عقال القصيدة، ولترتسم عباراتها معانٍ ومشاهد وحكم وأفكار ضمن مقاطع ونصوص يتابعها القارئ بتأنٍ لإدراك معانيها الفلسفية العميقة ولإدراك ما وراء السطور.
إذا كانت المدينة موجودة فالتمس الطريق إلى سوقها، إذا كان السوق موجودة فابحث عمن يدلك إلى البيت، إذا كان البيت موجوداً فخذ منه خرائط الغابة، إذا كانت الغابة موجودة فاسع في اتجاه النبع، إذا كان النبع موجوداً سترى عنده صبية تقف في انتظارك، إذا كانت الصبية موجودة فإنها ستقودك إلى النهر، إذا كان النهر موجوداً فإنه سيلقي بك عند باب الكنز، إذا كان الكنز موجوداً فلن تعثر فيه إلا على كأس واحدة، إذا كانت الكأس موجودة فما عليك سوى أن تعب خمرتها، لتنام وحيداً وتحلم كما لو أنك لم تجد شيئاً.
