كانت إرادة الله أن يزود كل نبي يرسله بمعجزة من جنس ما انتشر في عصره ، وعرف ، فزود موسى عليه السلام بمعجزة العصا التي تأكل ما يأفكون ، ولم يعلمه السحر ، بل كان أبعد الناس عنه ، ورباه في حجر فرعون ، وعلى عينه ؛ ليعلم أن ما جاء به موسى لم يكن سحرا ، وزود عيسى عليه السلام بمعجزة الطب ، ولم يكن طبيا ولا تعلم هذه الصنعة ، وكانت إرادة الله أن جعل القرآن الكريم معجزة آخر الرسل محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم ، فجعله أميا لا يقرأ ولا يكتب ، حتى إذا جاءهم بالقرآن أذهلوا ، وعلموا أن ما يقوله ليس من كلام البشر ؛ فيكشف الكتاب زيغ الذين يطالبون بإعادة النظر في هذه الكلمة محرفين الكلم عن مواضعه ، محاولين حجب الشمس بغربال حقدهم ، وإلغاء الرسالة السماوية عند الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ على قصور ظنهم وخبثه .
