ياسر العيتي، طبيب وباحث وشاعر سوري، من مواليد الرياض 1968، يحمل إجازة في الطب البشري من جامعة دمشق 1992، وحاصل على دبلوم في الأمراض الداخلية من جامعة لندن 2001.
اهتم العيتي بدراسة الذكاء العاطفي وعلوم التفكير والإبداع والتنمية الذاتية والإدارية والقيادية وألف في ذلك وترجم الكثير من الكتب وأقام العديد من الدورات. يكتب الشعر الديني وله 4 دواوين منشورة، يتابع الدراسات الإنسانية والاجتماعية وشارك في نشاطات إعلان دمشق. وينتمي إلى التيار الإصلاحي المعارض في سورية.
اعتقله جهاز أمن الدولة في سورية يوم الإثنين 17 ديسمبر 2007 على خلفية مشاركته جلسات واجتماعات إعلان دمشق.
