"...وفيما ترقب زوجها على مقربة منه تتمنى لو أنها تتمسك به ولا تدعه يفارقها إلى مكان في الأرض، وهي بذلك كأنها تراه للمرة الأولى فعيناها التي اعتادت على رؤيته مجاهداً، مثابراً، عازماً، لم تره يوماً بهذا الجمال وهذا الهدوء، عيناها التي اعتادت أن تبكي كل من يسقط في هذه الأرض تبكي حسيناً مع أنه لم يسقط بعد. هذه المشاعر الحزينة المفعمة بالحيرة والتساؤل والخوف كادت تفقدها وعيها عندما أخذ حسين يوقظ الأطفال، أحدهم تلو الآخر يقبل أياديهم ويشم أعناقهم يحتضنهم بشدة ثم يداعبهم ويطلب منهم أن يتكلموا، يريد أن يسمع أصواتهم كأنه لا يريد نسيانها وهو إذا ما سمعها وأصغى للحنين الملتهب فيها شعر بتمزق فؤاده وصراخ مقلتيه.. وتلوع روحه وأنين جروحه. كان على ثنية أن تنفذ كل ما يطلب. كانت خائفة من أن يموت بعد هذا الوداع، خائفة من أن يكون جاداً بكل ما يفعل، من أن تأتي لحظة تقول فيها: ليتني فعلت ما تريد ولم أغضبك قبل وفاتك وكأنها تعرف أنه يمضي دون رجوع... أحدهم طرق الباب: نحتاجك يا حسين الشباب مستعدون. تهيأ جيداً، الملابس الخاصة، العطر، الأدوات الخاصة به... والقرآن... كله تمام! قالهما بهدوء... واقترب من زوجته هل حان وقت الرحيل؟ يعرف أنها تتمزق لكنها الحياة، عليه أن يرحل وهو لا يستطيع أن يجيب عن كل الأسئلة اصطحبها إلى المرأة، وقف إلى جانبها، وأخذ ينظر إليها، كل منهما ينظر إلى نصفه الآخر هل سيكمل بدونه؟ هل سنفترق؟ تساءلت ثنية فيما راحت تتأمل وجه حسين... تدقق فيه، تتفرس ملامحه دون ملل. تريد أن تحفظه جيداً حتى لا تنساه... وكيف تنساه وهو كل حياتها". يتناول هذا العدد وهو الرابع من سلسلة "المرأة المقاومة" قصة زوجة الشهيد حسين هاشم ووالدة الطفلين الشهيدين علي وسليم هاشم من بلدة مشغرة البقاعية اللبنانية المجاهدة...
