إذا ما تمعناً في الأمر سنكتشف ان الجوارب أقل عبثيه من الأحذية والصنادل التي كلما صنعت من الجلد ارتفع ثمنها، يكسو الإنسان جلد قدمه بالجلد، ويبطنه بالحديد أيضاً، سواء كضرورة عمل أو من باب الموضة، بالطبع سجل هذا تقدماً لاعتداء الإنسان على أخيه الإنسان سواء جسدياً بالزكل الموجع، أو نفسياً على مثل تعبيرات (سأضربك بالحذاء) أو (قبل حذائي) ، وعلى الناحية الأخرى، ومن باب الموضوعية، فإن الأحذية الجلدية القوية، سواء المبطنة بالحديد أو لا، قد حمت الأنثى كثيراً عند تسديدها أسفل البطن.
