الشاعرة ميسون صقر القاسمي ولدت في الإمارات العربية المتحدة سنة 1958، تخرجت في كلية الاقتصاد والعلوم السياسية قسم علوم السياسة عام 1982، أقامت في القاهرة بين عامي 1964 و1989 ثم عادت لتقيم فيها منذ 1995، عملت من سنة 1989 وحتى 1995 في المجمع الثقافي في أبو ظبي رئيسا للقسم الثقافي ثم لقسم الفنون ثم لقسم الفنون والنشر، ولها تسع مجموعات شعرية هي"هكذا أسمي الأشياء" 1983 و"الريهقان" و"جريان في مادة الجسد" و"البيت" في عام 1992 و"الآخر في عتمته" و"مكان آخر" و"السرد على هيئته" و"تشكيل الأذى" وأخيراً "رجل مجنون لا يحبني" كما أصدرت ديوانين باللهجة العامية المصرية هما "عامل نفسه ماشي" و"مخبية في هدومها الدلع"، وأقامت ميسون القاسمي تسعة معارض تشكيلية في القاهرة والإمارات العربية المتحدة والأردن والبحرين كما شاركت في معرض الفنانات العربيات في الولايات المتحدة الأميركية، وفي عام 1990 - 1991 أقامت أول معرض تشكيلي لها في الإمارات ثم نقل في نفس العام إلى القاهرة باسم "خربشات على جدار التعاويذ والذكريات لامرأة خليجية مشدوهة بالحرف واللون" ممازجة بين الشعر والتشكيل وأصدرت بصدده كتيباً للمعرض يحوي بعض النصوص، وعام 1992 أقامت معرضها الثاني في القاهرة ثم تم نقله إلى الإمارات باسم "الوقوف على خرائب الرومانسية" وأصدرت معه كتيباً يحوي بعض النصوص، وأقامت معرضها الثالث "السرد على هيئته" عام 1993، وبعده جاء معرضها الرابع "الآخر في عتمته" عام 1998، متنقلاً ما بين قاعة الهناجر بالقاهرة وقاعة الطاهر الحداد بتونس وملتقى المبدعات العربيات بتونس والمركز الثقافي بالبحرين، ولا تزال تواصل تجربتها التشكيلية الموازية للشعر

يتذكر امومة سرحت في السنوات حنانها واختفت كان مشغولا بزجاج نظارته الذي انكسر وورق على طاولة تبلغ ريقها مع أقلام عديدة وحبر يندلق كل صباح في دمه ولا يتلون الكلام به.ز وحين يغمض عينيه لتكتمل العاطفة ويستمر خيط السر مدللا على من كانوا هنا قبل قليل تتسع الغرفة لاستضافته ويعلو السقف بأحلامه فيقفل اللحظة خلفه حتى لا تدخل الأوهام فور انتباهه.
