لقد كان من دواعي الأسف أنه لم يتم خلال المدة الماضية من القرن الأخير بروز اهتمام واضح بإحياء ونشر وإشاعة التراث الخاص بالمؤلِّفات المسلمات عبر القرون الأربعة عشر الماضية من تاريخ الحضارة الإسلامية العريقة. ولم يكن هذا الإهمال متعمداً، وإنما هو شيء لم تدرك أهميته وضرورته في بيان وجه من الوجوه المشرقة النيرة لهذه الأمة المسلمة. أضف إلى هذا: أنه لم يتم رصد النشاط العلمي الذي قامت به جمهرة واسعة من النساء في التدريس والإقراء والسماع والإجازات. وهذا الكتاب يأتي في هذا النسق من الاهتمام، لمؤلِّفةٍ جمعت بين صبا نجد ونسيم الحجاز، فهي زبيرية الأصل، مكيَّة المهاجر والوفاة، علم من أعلام مكة، فضلاً عن كونها علماً من أعلام حنابلتها. وقد جاء تأليف هذا الكتاب في وقت تقاصرت فيه الهمم، وتنافرت الرغبة، وأصبح كثير من الناس يميلون إلى الاختصار، وقد سارت فيه مؤلفته على طريقة متوسطة جيدة، لكن الأجل حال بينها وبين إتمام مرادها، فقد توفيت قبل إتمام العمل. ولقد قام المحقق بخدمة هذا المختصر الجامع المانع، حيث ضبطه بالشكل التام، وفصله إلى فصول ورقمها، واعتنى بتفقيره، وختمه بفهرس شامل لموضوعاته. ينصح به: كل طالب علم رامَ المختصرات، من متون العلوم المهمة؛ ليسهل عليه استحضار المسائل العلمية؛ ولقول مؤلفته في حقه : ((لأن مسائله مجزوم بصحة الفتوى بها عند المرجحين من أئمة المذهب)).
