سنقرأ في هذا الكتاب مجموعة من القصص والحكايات الشعبية المستوحاة من الواقع، يكتبها "محمد بن سعيد العدوي" تحت عنوان "أميرة". وفي هذا العمل مجموع قصص عايشها كاتبها عن قرب، وأخرى تخيلها وكتبها على شكل الحكاية الشعبية التي ترويها لنا الجدات، تنوعت بين قصص السحر والشعوذة، والغرام والحب، والطرافة والمكر، فكانت بمثابة بداية مشوار إلى عالم القصة القصيرة كما أراد لها مؤلفها. جاءت هذه القصص في غالبيتها قصصاً مسلية ومشوقة وهادفة في كثير من جنباتها، يمكن أن توجه للناشئة بهدف التعود على متعة الإستماع والقراءة، فإذا ما قرأنا على سبيل المثال قصة بعنوان: "العصى لمن مرض" والتي يحكي فيها عن امرأة كانت تعاني مرضاً نفسياً يصيبها بالرعشة الشديدة والتلعثم، والصراخ، وعجز الدواء عن شفائها، فلجأ زوجها إلى أحد المشعوذين الذي قال له: "زوجتك تريد ضرب بعصا بقوة، لأن فيها شيطان، والشيطان ما أيخرج غير بهذي الطريقة". وفي الحال .. عاد الزوج إلى البيت وأمسك بعصا طويلة وانهال على زوجته ضرباً مبرحاً، وهو مؤمن، بأن من يتألم ويصرخ ليست هي بل الشيطان الذي بداخلها!. فماذا حصل للزوجة بعد هذا الضرب المميت، هذا ما سنعرفه عند قراءتنا لهذه الحكاية التي تهدف إلى تنبيه الشباب إلى عدم الوقوع ضحية هذه الظواهر من سحر وشعوذة، والإعتماد على العقل وعلى العلم في حلّ المشكلات التي يمكن أن تواجهه، فلكل حكاية من هذه المجموعة القصصية معنى ورسالة أراد المؤلف إيصالها إلى جمهور القرار بطريقة سلسة ومتنوعة، جاءت في إحدى عشرة فصلاً .. جديرة بالإطلاع.
