هذا الصباح مكتئب دون أن أدري ماذا تساقط مني! هنا يمكنني أن أشعل الصباح بأصبعي وأن أطفئه بأصبعي وأنا أندس تحت اللحاف بحجة البرد، في المدن التي لا أقارب لي فيها ولا زوجة تلتصق بالشبابيك بإنتظاري، ولا بكاء أطفال لأن الحفاظات من نوع رديء وتسبب الحكة. أرتب الحكاية تحت سقف غرفتي قبل أن أخرج لتقبيل وجه المدينة، أحاول التمايز بقدرات فولاذية على الكذب، حين أشتري المقصات التي أبتر بها شتيمة العالم من حولي. هنا ما يزال القرص الخفيف ينبئ أن ثمة غباراً وحكة عالقين في المسافة بين بيتي الصغير وجسد الراقصة. يطفر الحنين من عيني وأنا ألامس طيف إبنتي الصغيرة، والضحكة الباكرة في نزهة الشمس، تركض صوب حضني متسلقة ذراعي ثم ما تلبث أن تختفي في الجدران، تنتابني رغبة حارة في أن أمشط الدمية التي تخصها، وأن أنتهز فرصة مواتية لأشتري لها الهامبرغر، أكلتها المفضلة التي تطلبها كلما صحبتها معي إلى المدينة...لا شيء أكثر، هذا إحتياجي الذي أرمحه الآن بالصور، وبالبقاء صامتاً دون أن أتحرك من السرير أو أن أغير لوني الفضي الشاحب...يبدو أني أرتعش، ولا شيء يكف عن إيذائي الآن...أخرج لأبعد من الغرفة الضيقة لأصافح المدينة الكبيرة المترفة بالزحام والبشر، مكتنزاً في معطفي الشتوي، ويداي مغروستان في جيبي بنطلوني الفارغتين، ولا أجد ثمناً لسيجارة إضافية...أسر وحيداً لأشق شوارع المدينة الصاخبة...أمتطي جدار الكورنيش المطل على البحر، أخلع نعلي وأطوي ساقي لصدري الملون بالحزن، أفتح عيني الضيقتين على إتساعها لأراقب السفن التي تحفر دمي، بينما تقف هي في المسافة الأخرى التي لا تتقاطع معي لأفكر عما يتكاثر تحت معاطفنا أكثر من أغاني فيروز...حوارات مع النفس وحكايات تنمو وتنمومن خيالات تتسع لإحتضان أحلام وأحزان العالم...لتتقاطر أرتالاً من الكلمات والعبارات ولتتجمع قصصاً ربما ليس هي بالضبط كما أريد.
"لم تتوقف إلا عندما وصلت قبالة باب المسجد.. تلفتت بحذر كمن يوشك على سرقة شيء ما، وهي تحفر حفرة صغيرة سرعان ما ألقت فيها "الصرار" ودفنت الحفرة سريعا ثم داست عليها بقدمها عدة مرات لكي لا تنبشها خطوات المارة للصلاة...".
