إنها مدن الأبدية التي عجزت عنها، الشمس المائلة بقيت هناك، وكتفي الهشة جمدت في شارع مائل، وأيضاً هناك، على أرصفة أزلية توقف جسد منطو على آلام وموت، تلك المعجزة الموت لما يتحول نوراً واخزاً كمكان الدم والرؤيا، تلك معجزة النور لما يتحول موتاً وحياة في جسد واحد، الجسد المسكين الذي دفعته نحو الجحيم، والجسد البريء من أحرفي وكلماتي، كيف استطاع الجسد الصغير أن يتحمل كل آلامي، وكيف جرجرته مائلاً وخائراً في الأمكنة التي عرفت سلفاً أنها لن تكون لي، جسد المكان المطلق لم أترك له سوى وهم المدن التي فلتت من يدي، لم أترك له سوى غبش الوقت الذي لم أعثر عليه بعد.
