في مجموعتها الشعرية "قلب لا يصلح للحرب" تتألق الشاعرة فتحية الصفري في خلق مشهدية شعرية تتوزع مستوياتها بين التراجيدي والساخر في لغة تتشرب ميكانيزمات الانزياح بقوة، وعبر صور شعرية متوهجة تقود إلى تفجير بؤرة النص لتفعيل الأثر وتوفير منظومة كبيرة من الإزاحات في الملفوظة "قلبي مصاب بداء التردّد / لا يستقر في الضوء ، ولا في العتمة / ينسى قليلاً ويتذكر كثيراً / يحب اللانهاية / ويكره النقطة". بهذه اللغة الترميزية والإيحائية تبني الشاعرة الصفري عالمها الشعري فنرى التقاطات حسية ذكية غاية في البراعة "تلك الشرارة / التي حدثت من نظرة خاطفة لقلب / أنجبت طمأنينة مؤقتة / ثم ماتت" ان البنى اللغوية التي تؤسطر شعريتها في هذا النص تشير إلى حالات تتصارع فيه الذات مع الآخر والعالم وتتداخل مع السخرية المريرة والتراجيديا الحسية الموجعة وهو ما أرادت الشاعرة إرساله إلى العالم عبر الخطاب الشعري في "قلب لا يصلح للحرب".
يضم الكتاب سبعين قصيدة في الشعر العربي الحديث جاءت تحت العناوين الآتية: "إلى قلب خائف" ، "بروفايل" ، "تنويه " ، "تحت الأنقاض" ، "مشروع فاشل" ، "العاشق" ، "هزة إرتدادية" ، "بعد انقطاع الحب" (...) وقصائد أخرى.
