هواجس وتخيلات يدونها "صلاح صلاح" في روايته "سيدة البحر" هذه الرواية التي هي أقرب إلى الخيال والسراب منها إلى الحقيقة، بطلتها الرئيسية سيدة تخرج كالخيال، من البحر لتجلس وتتكلم مع الراوي، هي له وحده، هي ملكه وحده تظهر له وحده وتختفي دائماً في البحر كالسراب، تاركة خلفها آلاف التساؤلات والكلمات والألغاز.
قصة شبه رمزية حول علاقة المبدع بالإلهام الذي يجسد في شكل سيدة على بحر. تخلو الرواية من الأسماء وتحديد الأماكن، ذلك أنها تدور حول مسألة كونية للهاجس.
