في ما يتصل بالاهتمام الرئيسي الذي يوليه المجلس الثقافي للبنان الجنوبي بالتراث العاملي جاء ترحيبنا الفوري، في المجلس، بتوجُّه الصديق العزيز العميد الدكتور هشام جابر إلينا في أن نتولَّى الإشراف على نشر أطروحة الباحث المصري الأستاذ محمد سماحة عوض الجامعية، المنعقدة على شخصية الشيخ أحمد رضا العاملي لغوياً. وما أن وُضعت هذه الأطروحة بين أيدينا حتى سارعنا إلى قراءتها بتمعُّن فرأيناها تصبُّ في مجرى الاهتمام بأحد أبرز رموز التراث العاملي، من هنا بادرنا إلى عقد اتفاق، لنشرها في كتاب، مع مدير دار الفارابي للنشر، الصديق الأستاذ جوزف بو عقل. ونحن في المجلس الثقافي للبنان الجنوبي إذْ نبادر إلى القيام بهذا الواجب الأدبي فتقديراً منَّا للجهد المضني الذي بذله الأستاذ محمد سماحة عوض في دراسة وتحليل شخصية الشيخ أحمد رضا عالماً لغوياً متألقاً، وتقديراً، منَّا، للمسعى الخيِّر الذي قام به الصديق الدكتور هشام جابر خدمة للتراث العاملي، من خلال إطلاق المزيد من الضوء على أحد أبرز مبدعي هذا التراث البالغ الغنى. حبيب صادق
