يرى المؤلف بأن الحركات الدينية الإسلامية، في جميع الدول العربية، تعيش تناقضاً أساسيا وحاداً وفاصلاً فهي تريد محاربة الإمبريالية في الوقت الذي تقدس الرأسمالية، وبالتالي الملكية المخصصة، وهي أساس الإمبريالية والاستكبار العالمي. والأنظمة المرسملية في العالم الثالث. بينما الإسلام دين الجماعة والشيوعية الإلهية.
وفي هذا الكتاب يتناول المؤلف شطراً من فكر وطروحات الدينويين في ضوء القرآن الكريم. كمساهمته في تجديد الفكر الإسلامي الدفين وإظهار الدين الحق. وهي موضوعات بعيدة عن الأحداث الجارية ولكنها تعكس عقلية ومذهبية الحركات الدينية وردّ المؤلف عليها إلا أنه قام وفي فصل الكتاب الأول "قضية ورؤية" بإرسال رسالة عاجلة لـ"بن لادن" وجماعاته، لعلهم يعتبرون أن الباطل إفلاس وأن الحق أحق أن يتبع.
هذه دراسة نظرية تطبيقية للاتجاهات الدينية المنحرفة والبعيدة عن تعالم وأحكام ومُثل الإسلام. وبالذات القرآن الكريم. ومن هنا تأتي أهميتها حيث أنها تتناول العلاقات الجدلية القائمة بين الفكر والممارسة والتطبيق لدى الحركات (الشركات) الدينية على امتداد الوطن الإسلامي بقومياته وشعوبه العديدة. ولكن لا أدعي أنها شاملة وتامة. إلا أنها مع ذلك ترتبط وتتكامل مع الجهود السابقة فيما نشرته حول القضايا الدينية مسترشداً كلياً تقريباً بكتاب الله (القرآن الكريم) وشيئاً من أقوال الرسول الأعظم وتوجيهاته العملية والحكيمة كمعلم وقائد لثورة غيّرت وجه التاريخ. بعيداً عن المفهوم الخاطئ الذي يرفعه رجال الدين في شعار (كتاب الله وسنّة رسوله). فالرسول ليس له سنّة مستقلة عن سنّة الله. وسنّة الله هي سنّة جميع الرسل في الحقيقة. وهي أساس كل العلوم والنظريات المعرفية.
