غالباً ما تقترح تكنولوجيَّات المعلومات والتواصل (TIC) كحلولٍ لمشكلات التعليم والتعلم. ومما لا شك فيه ان هذه الأدوات الحديثة توفر إمكاناتٍ وموارد هامة. لكن كيف العمل لجعل هذا الممكن واقعاً؟ وكيف يمكن تحويل النشاط المتبادل بين الادوات إلى تفاعلٍ بين الاشخاص الذين هم في طور بناء معارفهم؟ يدعو هذا الكتاب القارىء إلى مقاربةٍ استقرائيةٍ مؤكدةٍ، تنطلق من الأدوات نحو الأهداف مروراً بخطواتٍ ومنهجياتٍ مرتكزةٍ على شخص المتعلم. إن الأمر لا يتعلق بنشر فكرة " التكنولوجيت، مهما كان الثمن" إذ أن هناك معاييرٌ إنتقائيةٌ لهذه الأدوات التكنولوجية جرى اقتراحها بما يتناسب والأهداف التي يختارها المتعلم. ثم أن هناك معاييرٌ نوعيةٌ جرى وضعها ايضاً من أجل أن تكون التوظيفات المحتملة والمتفق عليها، ذات مردود. لقد تمت صياغة هذا المؤلف بأسلوب سهل التناول وذلك بهدف إيصاله إلى جمهورٍ متنوع. وتشمل التكنولوجيَّات الحالية حقولاً متنوعةً كالمجتمع والتعليم والهوايات والتقنية... لقد أراد المؤلف أن يطلق حواراً بين العناصر الفاعلة (تربويين ومرشدين تعليميين وباحثين...) والمستخدمين (مدرسين وطلابٍ وتربويين وأهل...) مارسيل لوبران (Marcel LEBRUN) بعد أن كان دكتوراً في العلوم الفيزيائية، فقد تحول بالتدريج نحو تدريس العلوم، والتدريس بواسطة الحاسوب والعوامل المساعدة على التعلم... وهو حاليا أستاذٌ في كلية علم النفس والعلوم التربوية في جامعة لوفان (Louvain) الكاثوليكية، حيث يدرس المعلوماتية، والتقنيات الحديثة، ووسائل تحضير مشاريع الإعداد والتربية على الـ (TIC). كما يشغل مهام مستشارٍ في تكنولوجيَّات التربية في المؤسسة الجامعية للتربية ولوسائل الإعلام المتعددة (IPM) Institut de Pédagogie universitaire et des Multimédias في الجامعة عينها. وهو يقوم في هذا الإطار بإعداد الطلاب والأساتذة على الاستخدام الرشيد للتقنيات الحديثة ويواكب الأساتذة في تطوير مشاريعهم التربوية.
