بعين متفحّصة وقراءة واعية مترصّدة، ينشغل الإعلامي الإماراتي سعيد حمدان، عبر كتابه هذا، بإضاءة نماذج من تلك ألأخطاء –وربّما "الخطايا" –التي وقعت فيها بعض الصحف، وسواء أكان الخطأ سهواً بشرياً من العاملين والمحرّرين، أو اقترفته أجهزة الطباعة والإخراج، وسواء جاء عن جهل وقلّة خبرة، أو عن إجتهاد خاطئ، فإنّ الكاتب لا يتتبّع عورات أخطاء صاحبة الجلالة ليفضحها، بل لينبّه إليها ويشير إلى أنّه يجب ألاّ ينظر إلى القارئ الصحيفة على أنه يمرّ عليها مرور الكرام، بل تؤثر فيه هذه الأخطاء ويتخذ منها موقفاً سواء أكان الأمر يتعلق بصحة اللغة، أو بخطأ الإخراج ووضع الصور، أو حتى بالمضمون غير الصحيح المضلل..! ويضرب المؤلف أمثلة عديدة على هذه الأخطاء، ويختار نماذج من الصحف التي صدرت في دولة الإمارات خلال فترة زمنيّة معيّنة، بل يتابع أيضاً ما سبّبه هذا الخطأ لاحقاً من ردود فعلٍ، وكيف تمّت معالجته والتعامل مع مسبّبه..! يمكن إعتبار هذا الكتاب ضرورياً لطلبة أقسام الصحافة والإعلام في الجامعات والمعاهد العربية، ليتعرفوا على أمثلة حية من الإشكاليات التي تقع فيها الصحف، خصوصاً وأن مؤلفه يرفق، في نهايته، ملحقاً خاصاً بنماذج من هذه الأخطاء، بعضها يبدو طريفاً للغاية. كما إنّه ضروري أيضاً للصحفيين المبتدئين ليحاولوا تجنّب الوقوع في مثل هذه الأخطاء، ويتعرفوا إلى أثرها السلبيّ على الصحفيّ وصحيفته والمجتمع، كما إنّه من المهم للصحفيين المحترفين أن يطلعوا عليه ليتذكّروا أخطاءهم التي إرتكبوها ذات يوم، فالذي لا يخطئ لا يعمل..!
