De traiter la question de la démocratie dans notre époque - contaminé par plusieurs phénomènes et actes qualifiés « démocratiques »-, me semble un travail difficile et porte beaucoup de responsabilité.
De traiter cette question porte d’abord une responsabilité morale surtout quand on voit le nombre de guerres faites au nom de cette « démocratie », ensuite responsabilité académique pour, au moins, sauver et garder les normes et les valeurs de ce qui a été nommé un jour par les « Lumières » « Démocratie ». Dans les deux cas, je me trouvais devant une grande responsabilité et énormes soucis…
…C’est bien la société qui est en crise, c’est bien le système qui est en crise, c’est, sans hésitation la vérité. Une société actuelle malade d’un capitalisme incapable de relever les défis du développement humain et qui génère une violence sociale inouïe et étonnante. C’est bien la « démocratie » qui est en crise majeure, crise qui la touche pas comme pratique mais bien comme valeur. Pour cela, nous serons tous invités à redéfinir ce monde dans ses architectures politiques, sociales et économiques en créant un nouveau alternatif commun, mu.tuel et humanitaire…
