خالد البسام كاتب ومؤرخ بحريني، ولد في عنيزة في تاريخ 18 نوفمبر عام 1956م. صدرت له الكثير من المؤلفات في تاريخ البحرين والخليج العربي، إضافة إلى إصدارات عديدة تنوعت بين الرواية وسير الأعلام والسياسة. وتوفي عام 2015م.

في "بريد القلب" نعثر على كلام وجدانيّ كتبته المشاعر، ونقّطت حروفه ورقّمته بكثير من الحنان والرومانسيّة اللتين نفتقدهما بشدّة في هذا الزمان. هذا "البريد" الذي وضعه الكاتب الصحافي خالد البسام بحبر قلبه، مليء بالبوح والمشاعر والمتاقات ولوعات الطيبة المتناثرة في صفحات القلب والكتاب معاً. وسيجد القارئ في ثناياه بعض ذاته الحميمة، كما سيشعر بعذوبة اكتشافه لدفئه السري الذي يعيده إلى ينابيعه السفلى الصافية. لكنه سيذكره بجرحه أيضاً ناقلاً إياه بين "مؤامرات العشق" و"معهد الغرام" و"غموض الرجل" و"العزل المضادّ". نأمل أن يصل هذا "البريد" إلى القارئ، بكل حرارته ومعناه، وأن يشكل زاداً لا غنى له عنه!
