"منفية على الحدود، منفية بلا وطن، منفية خارج فلك الزمان والمكان، يحرقني لهيب الشمس المتوقد، تنزف قطرات الدم قبل العرق، أنفاسي محمومة.. مخنوقة.. تستجدي هواء، عيناي يلسعهما شعاع الشمس الملتهب الذي أسكب على جفوني حمرة الدم القاني، أهرب من تلك اللسعات، أغلق عيني، أحتمي بكفيّ منها، أضعهما على جبيني النازف، أستجدي ظلاً، كلن محال.. استحالت جفوني إلى بركان دماء، لا شيء سوى حمرة قانية فيهما، تراها حمرة دمائي الثائرة في شراييني المجروحة! تخيفني حمرة الدماء، وكأنني كمن جاء يستجير من الرمضاء بالنار!َ افتح عيني الداميتين، أحاول مدّ بصري عبر لسعات اللهيب نحو بصيص من فرج بعيد، نحو بارقة أمل مستحيلة، أتطلع إلى نقطة الحدود الفاصلة، أتطلع إليها وكلي ظمأ إلى مرواها، إلى الارتواء منها والتشفي، لكن كم هو بون شاسع واسع ممتد على مدى البصر، الذي يفصلني عن مرواي، طابور ممتد (يستجدي العبور) من كتل حية تدعى مجازاً بشراً!
وأنا منذ خيوط الفجر الأولى، سائرة أو واقفة.. ما الفرق؟! في صف هذا الطابور الممتد بلا نهاية ولا بداية، وكأني ظمآن غارق في صحراء رمال، كلما تقدمت نحو نقطة الحدود.. بعدت.. واستحالت إلى طيف من خيال، كما السراب، ونتبع السراب، (نستجدي العبور). نحاول اللحاق بركب إنسانيتنا المهدرة على الحدود، أحلوا دماءها.. اغتصبوها.. وأحالوني بعدها إلى ذكرى إنسان بعد أن كنت إنساناً!
