ويعرض المؤلف أيضاً لطرق إنشاء السدود والخزانات والسدود الترابية إضافة إلى وسائل تحسين مجرى الأنهار. وأعمال السيطرة في موسم الفيضان. والكتاب يسد حاجة ماسة في المكتبة العربية وفي هذا الموضوع على وجه الخصوص.
