مقدمة الناشرالحمد لله رب العالمين، وصلى الله على نبينا محمد وعلى آله وصحبه أجمعين.أما بعد، فما تفتأ العبيكان للنشر تتطلع بين الفينة والأخرى وفي خضم ازدحام الأعمال إلى تطوير المحتوى وتقديمه للقراء والباحثين وطلبة العلم بطرق جديدة ومبتكرة،وفي لقاء شخصي جمع مدير إدارة النشر والترجمة الأستاذ محمد بن عبدالله الفريح والشيخ الفاضل عبدالملك بن محمد الجاسر، اقترح الشيخ الجاسر إعادة طباعة كتاب (الروض المربع بشرح زاد المستقنع) بشكل جديد وعصري.وبعد عرض الموضوع على الزملاء في إدارة النشر رأينا من الأنسب عمل جلسات عصف ذهني لتطوير الكتاب وخدمته بشكل جذري بمساعدة المعتني، فتفتقت أفكار الزملاء عن عدد من طرق التطوير المبتكرة وأساليبه التي قاربت 14 طريقة اختلف فيها المتن الحالي عن السابق، والتي تهدف إلى توضيحه وتسهيله دون إضافات عمّا ذكره الماتن والشارح، وهو من قبيل خدمة هذا المتن؛ لما له من المنزلة الرفيعة عند أهل الاختصاص.ثم استقرت جميع الآراء والأفكار، واتفقت على إخراج الكتاب بحلتين بهيجتين جميلتين:أُولاهما: هذه الحلة القشيبة التي روعي فيها الناحية التفاعلية في التدريس والتلقي، بحيث احتوى الكتاب على مساحات واسعة للتعليق والتهميش والشرح والإضافة.والثانية التي ستخرج في مرحلة لاحقة -إن شاء الله- وهي موجهة لغير الطلاب، ومخرجة بالطريقة نفسها إلا أنها دون مساحات أو أسطر فارغة للتعليق والشرح والكتابة.ولا يفوتنا في هذه العجالة أن نشكر كلَّ من أسهم بفكرة أو معلومة أو مقترح أو إضافة سواء من أعضاء هيئة التدريس الذين اطلعوا على نماذج العمل، أو الطلاب الذين وُزِّعت عليهم هذه النماذج لأخذ آرائهم، وأفادونا مشكورين ببعض الملاحظات والنصائح التي كان لها كبير الأثر في تجويد الكتاب وتمتينه وإخراجه بأفضل طريقة ممكنة.
