ثَقُلتْ عليَّ عباءةُ الدمِ والرمادِ وثَقَّبَ الرملُ الطريُّ جروحَ أوسمَتي بمعجون النياشينِ الصديئةِ والرميمِ الهشِّ من عظمٍ وفولاذٍ ، وكانتْ في فجاجِ الروحِ قافلةٌ ، وسبعةُ إخوةٍ ماتوا صغارًا ، والتميمةُ فوق صدري سبعةٌ من حَبِّ ما حصدَتْ يدُ الأعمامِ والأخوالِ : جوهرُ حنطةٍ ، خَرَزٌ من البرسيمِ ، والرزُّ المقشَّرُ ، كهرمانُ العَدْسِ ، بُؤْبُؤُ حبةٍ سوداءَ ، والذُّرَةُ الرفيعةُ ، والْتماعُ السمسمِ المبثوثِ
