مى زيادة، شخصية استثنائية، بكل ما تحويه الكلمة من معنى، امرأة عاشت بطقوس المستقبل وقوانيه في ماض محفوف بالتأويلات وقصور الرؤيا.. ولذلك فإن هذه الأديبة التى "خرجت عن النص" فى وقت مبكر، ما تزال تستهوى بحياتها وأفكارها أجيالاً جديدة.. ورغم ظهور أديبات بعدها، فإن الأضواء التي تسلطت عليها لم تتوجه إليهن، وبذلك بقيت هذه الإنسانة حاضرة في أذهان القراء، ولم تتوار صورتها أو تتلاش، كما حدث مع الكثيرات..
هذا الحضور لتلك الغائبة يتأكد يوماً بعد آخر، ونحن نشهد المزيد مما يكتب عنها في الصحافة الثقافية، وما يصدر من كتب حولها وعن أدبها.. ولابد من القول إن تلك الكتابات -رغم من الكثرة الكاثرة التي دونت عنها- لم تشف غليل القارئ، ولم تكشف عن جوانب، وأغوار بعيدة في شخصية مي زيادة، التي أثارت جدلاً واسعاً في حياتها وبعد رحيلها.. اللهم إلا مؤلفات قليلة حاولت أن تتحرى الدقة والصدق.
ليس بودى أن أتحدث هنا كثيرا عن مى.. فسوف أترك لها أن تتحدث عن نفسها، من خلال هذا الكتاب، لقد عشت مع مي في مؤلفاتها، التي جعلتني أتمثلها نصب عيني، واعتمدت على مؤلفاتها كركيزة أساسية لكتابي، فكثرت في صفحاته الاقتباسات والإشارات لمؤلفاتها.. ولم لا ومؤلفات الكاتب مرآة لذاته وحياته؟!
هذا الكتاب، يلقي السمع، ويرسل البصر، لا أكثر، وراء مبدعة، أردت أن أنفض بعضاً من التراب عنها كإنسانة ومبدعة، فحياة "إيزيس كوبيا" الحافلة والمثيرة لا يمكن لأى سطور اختزالها.. والأزمنة والأمكنة التي احتضنت تلك الحياة ما تزال حاضرة وقريبة بنكهتها وأصالتها وعناوينها، وأي بهرجة قول مهما فتنا بها لا يمكن أن تكون بديلة، لبهرجة تلك الحياة الدافقة التي عاشتها مي.. حتى اتهموها بالجنون!! فيا مي زيادة.. طوبى لك بجنونك.
