قصة قصيرة للأطفال تحكي عن مجموعة من البطّات اللاتي يعشن قرب بحيرة .وقد إعتدن جميعهن على اللعب في البحيرة إلا واحدة منهن تُدعى (مارسيلا) لا تلعب معهن. لأنها مشغولة بدراسة القمر وتحوّلاته من هلال إلى أن يصبح بدرا. وكلّما حاولت تلك البطّات جرّها للعب معهن ترفض وتُجيبهن بالقول : سيأتي الوقت الذي ألعب معكم فيه. وبعد أن تنتهي من دراسة حالات القمر وترسمها بالتدريج تدعو باقي البطّات لكي تُريهن ما قامت به. وعندما تلاحظ البطات ما قامت به مارسيلا يُدهشن ويتعجبن من ذلك. بعدها تعود مارسيلا للعب معهن في البحيرة. وهذا الكتاب مطبوع بطريقة شيّقة ورسومات توضيحية للفنان البصري الشاب (عصام مجيد النجّار) يُمكنها جذب الطفل إليه والإستمتاع بما يحويه والاستفادة من المعلومات. ويمكن لهذا الكتاب أن ينتسب إلى صنف الكتب التعليمية كونه مطبوع بلغة ثنائية ، باللغتين العربية والانكليزية.
